Das Bild zeigt das Schotterwerk in Lüptitz im Jahr 1936. Das Werk in dieser Form wurde bereits vor vielen Jahren abgerissen. In Lüptitz wird bis heute Schotter produziert. Bilder dieser Art waren meist Auftragswerke der Steinbruchunternehmer. Sie hingen gerahmt im Kontor oder in der Kantine. Bei diesem Blatt handelt sich um ein Geschenk des Steinbruchbesitzers Friedrich Zachmann an einen Mitarbeiter. Die Rückseite des Rahmens ist beschriftet: "Zur Erinnerung an 50 jährige treue Mitarbeit. | Leipzig, den 1. Mai 1939. Friedrich Zachmann. | Werk Lüptitz.
